This study aims to analyze the relationship between students’ understanding of Islamic buying and selling ethics and their transaction behavior in the Market Day activity. This research employed a quantitative correlational approach involving 37 fifth-grade students at Salafiyah Ula Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri in the 2025/2026 academic year using total sampling. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis included the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, linearity test, and Spearman Rank correlation. The findings indicate that 51.4% of students had a high level of understanding of Islamic buying and selling ethics, while 62.2% demonstrated high transaction behavior. The Spearman Rank test yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.744 with a significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, there is a strong, positive, and significant relationship between students’ understanding of Islamic buying and selling ethics and their transaction behavior. The higher the students’ understanding, the better their transaction behavior during Market Day. These findings highlight that Market Day can function not only as an entrepreneurship learning activity but also as a medium for developing Islamic character.
